This was probably the best restaurant experience we have had in the last several years. Went on a cold night and sat by the kitchen, restaurant was warm and cozy. Server was great, suggested items to try and drinks. While we waited for our food the bartender came out of the bar to check on us and food was delivered at the right pace. Follow up with us was great and manager walked around checking in. Employees seemed happy and must be treated well. Overall the cost/value exceeded our expectations. Our new go to spot for a nice evening!

8/2/24 - My daughter treated me to lunch after helping her for a few weeks after a surgery. Amy was a fantastic server. Friendly, professional and doing a great job at pacing the order so we felt neither rushed but able to leave within time constraints as she needed to get back to work. Since my daughter is still on crutches and not able to put any weight on the leg with the brace, they were kind about giving us a table rather than a booth. She still needs to support the leg with the brace on a stool or chair rather than having it bent at the knee. We each had a glass of the Chateau Ste Michelle Chardonnay. We split the sesame ahi tuna appetizer. It came with a nice slaw, crispy wontons, a soy glaze and wasabi cream. It would have made a nice lunch on its own. We were so hungry we didn't take any photos but the presentation was wonderful. Pretty much like the online menu photo. It tasted terrific as well. We also each ordered the pick 2 lunch special. We opted for the 1/2 flat breads and a Caesar Salads. My flat bread was the chicken and artichoke, with roasted tomatoes, spinach and parm cheese. Hers was the smoked pork and grilled pineapple with a sweet chili sauce, provolone and mozzarella cheese . We shared of course. Both the flat breads were very flavorful. We were happy to share some of each other's. Two vey different but great flavor combos. The salad greens were crisp yet nicely coated with a generous serving of shaved Parmesan. After a long stint of being house bound, it was great to eat out in a wonderful dining room, with delicious food and an excellent server. We were so hungry and enjoying being out that I neglected to take any photos.

Met with two of our favorite cousins tonight for dinner. It's something we try to do as often as possible. This time they picked the spot and it was Porter Creek. It seems I was the only one who knew nothing about the place. My wife was here with her retired nurse buddies, my kids ate here and had positive comments; but as for me, it was my first time. My wife and I arrived first, and chose to dine outdoors, which was mostly indoors and were seated promptly. Our server was Lisa, and she was full of helpful info regarding the menu choices. I wanted a real beer, not some watered down crap light beer, so Lisa suggested a Great Lakes tap and it was perfect. I had the Bacon Cheddar burger and my wife the Fettuccini Parmesan Cream and both were delicious. I was surprised and delighted when Lisa asked if I wanted mine pink. Is there any other way to enjoy a burger? Good food, good service, moderate prices, I'd say it was a win win win for the four of us!

Rebecca was an amazing server. Excellent! I was here with a group of friends and everyone was amazed by her. We all ordered different entrees and everyone loved their choice. I started with the Mushroom Soup. Most mushroom soup is more watery and diluted by the addition of too much cream. This soup was an ugly brown color but was mostly mushrooms and tasted wonderful. It had tiny bits of apple on top and that went surprisingly well. My entree was the Scallops with a sweet corn risotto. Really fresh tasting and nice. Wine bottles are half priced on Tuesdays.

Fine place to dine for a weekday lunch. We were seated immediately and had a friendly waiter. Good selection of wines and beers. Pleasant setting. I enjoyed a lunch special of half chicken artichoke flatbread and mixed green salad. Fresh and tasty. My husband had a cheeseburger. It was slightly undercooked. His garlic mashed potatoes were not hot enough. The tap beer he ordered was not available. Complimentary bread was good. A bit expensive overall for what we got.
